Design Taylor's Colours!

Hi Kids!

Taylor Trot needs your help!   

That’s right! Taylor needs you to design a new set of driving colours! 

There is a handy template in the May issue of T4K that you can use and don’t forget to add designs, shapes, images, or whatever you like. Taylor loves bright colour, so go wild!   

You can also visit trot4kids.ca for the entry sheet and template.

I know she is really excited to get everyone’s submissions and so am I! The deadline to enter is June 20.  You can submit your design via email to kpringle@standardbredcanada.ca or mail to:

My 2012 Schedule!

Hi kids!

I just received the first set of dates for my 2012 touring season and I'm just so excited! I can't wait to see all of my T4K friends and make tons of new ones too! Taylor trot and I are just brimming with anticipation!

Can Am was GREAT!

Hi kids!

What a busy weekend I had! I was in London at the Agriplex at the Western Fair District for the Can Am All-Breeds Equine Emporium! It was so much fun! I hung out at the Equimania exhibit with all the kids! We learned all sorts of neat things about horse nutrition, how to braid a horse’s tail and barn safety! Some of the kids even got to dress up in real driver’s equipment and colours!

I was also able to meet Amber Marshall from Heartland! She was so nice and down to earth and even gave me her autograph! She is born and raised in London, which is so exciting! The line up to meet her was the longest I have ever seen!

The Canadian Cowgirl Drill Team was another big hit! With their sparkly red and white outfits and beautiful horses- they always had a crowd of people at their shows! The trade show was also great- Taylor Trot picked up a brand new pair of pink cowboy boots and bought me a brand new harness! I love it!

I was so happy to meet all the T4K kids at Can Am and can’t wait for my next event! I wonder what it will be….

I am going to the Can Am All Breeds Equine Show This Weekend!

Hi Kids!

I am heading out with the Trot 4 Kids team to London, Ontario this weekend for Can Am, Canada’s largest all-breeds Equine show which is taking place at the Western Fair District!

Come on out to hang out with me and the T4K crew at the Equimania Exhibit, a great inter-active and educational display that was featured at the World Equestrian Games! There will be games and prizes and lots of free stuff to give away including activity books, tattoos & bookmarks!

The show also features an incredible trade show, the ‘Canadian Cowgirls,’ educational seminars on all sorts of topics, Hunters and Jumpers, Stallion Avenue, the ever-popular Parade of Breeds, and exciting celebrity guest appearances from the likes of Pan Am Eventing Gold Medalist Jessica Phoenix and Heartland star Sarah Marshall!

You really don’t want to miss it!

The O'Brien Awards and RACE DAY Launch Party!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! Happy belated Valentine's Day!

What a great few weeks I've had! The O'Brien Awards were a night to remember! My favourite trotter right now, San Pail, won Older Trotting Horse of the Year and Horse of the Year and I'm just so happy for him! Everyone loves San Pail! And Jody! After the year he has had, he really did deserve Driver of the Year! I'm so glad he won! But, boy oh boy, did Randy Waples and Scott Zeron ever give him a run for his money!

Then, last week, I attended the RACE Day Launch Party! 150 of the best fans showed up to support the documentary, including the Mayor of Milton! I loved the film- what a great showcase of Canadian Harness Racing!

Hi everyone!

Have you started your 12 Days of Christmas countdown? I sure have! Only 11 days to go! I hope you have sent your letters to Santa!

Well, I'm going to go have a short winter's nap now! Taylor bought me a great new winter blanket and it is just so cozy!

Getting ready for the Holidays on the East Coast!

Hi Kids!

It's finally December- one of my favourite months of the whole year! I just love all the smiling faces and holiday lights and, of course, the promise of snow! Boy do I love the snow!

The December Trot 4 Kids magazine is coming out soon! It's a great 16 page edition with lots of great winter activities, gift ideas and an amazing story about Taylor and I! Make sure to check it out and let me know what you think!

I've spent a few weeks now in Truro, Nova Scotia and just wrapped up my visit helping out with Truro Raceway's annual Kid's Christmas Party! It was so much fun! I even got a ride in a carriage from a miniature horse!


I do love it here-- so close to the ocean and the fresh air, but I'll be heading back home to see Taylor tomorrow! It's always nice to come home no matter where my travels take me!

Let's cross our fingers for some snow!
